What is Spark + Tumble? Spark + Tumble is lively photographic event coverage and portrait making headed by photographer Lisa Beth Anderson, who splits her time between Chicago and America's Wild West.

Why weddings? I gravitate toward weddings because of the consistently stunning visual opportunities. It's an honor to step into the lives of two families as they come together through meaningful language, music, and feasting.

What else are you working on? I just returned from a trip to Peru where I photographed biomedical researchers and patients in Lima's world-renown tropical medicine clinic. It was a very different kind of narrative work than what I do with weddings, but the core of the project--the human response to profound happenings--was familiar.

And? This month I'm also photographing small business owners who, even in this bewildering economic climate, are giving it a go.
